Walk from Torcross to Monument between 13:00 - 15:00 produced the following: 2 Red Crested Pochard amonst the large flock of Coot/Tufted Duck/GC Grebe mid way along the lower ley plus 1 Pochard.. 50 Swallows, 30 House Martin, 4 Sand Martin. 14 Ringed Plover on the beach (grounded by the heavy showers). 4 Sandwich Tern, 7 Rock Pipits, 6 Pied Wagtail, 3 White Wagtail, 4 Wheatear (one male), 3rd year Med Gull in the gull flock but best of all our first GN Diver of the autumn. Originally seen well out in the bay it came much closer to shore by 15:00 allowing good views from the beach.
