A home birding day at South Brent gave a male Siskin on the feeders, Wren, Raven and Buzzard seen from the house, a walk around the boundary hedges gave a very confiding Chiffchaff, seven Goldcrest sightings, a 50 plus flock of Redwings which on landing was seen to contain 3 Song Thrush.
Green Woodpecker calling and the first Woodcock that I have seen in some time was a bonus.
Long Tailed Tits and a female Bullfinch, numerous small flocks of Starling, Tawny owls calling again this evening.
