2 Yellow-browed Warblers one at top pf quarry track them moved into woods toward Berry Head Hotel the other on the edge of the meadow near the drinking trough (neither the same bright legged + billed bird from Sunday near Wardens Bungalow) these birds varied in plumage note median covert (forward wing-bars).
Sheltering in my car from a very heavy shower John Lusher phoned to tell me about an Alpine Swift that he found flying past as he was sheltering in Sentry 'box' at the end of the head - a quick run out for me to find the bird still present quartering the headland. It kept on disappearing but returning again to same area - perhaps it will roost in the quarry tonight?
