A good afternoon with a new juv / fem Garganey showing well , impressive number of waders included 796+ dunlin, 4 juv curlew sandpiper, 2 knot, 40+ bar tailed godwits, 50+ grey plover was reduced by 1 when the local lesser black backed gull killed one it was too big to eat and even a heron decided it couldn't eat it so the local buzzard flew in and took it Away this made other counts impossible , good numbers of curlew and black tailed godwits, 38+ lapwing, 14 avocet, 15+ greenshank, 45+ pintail good numbers of teal and a few wigeon, 2 little egrets, 4 grey heron, 2 Cetti's warblers, 1 white wagtail.
