Just a smattering of migrants: 100 Swallow, 23 House Martin, 2 Sand Martin, Yellow Wagtail, 6 Whitethroat, 2 Blackcap, 14 Willow Warbler & 11 Chiffchaff. Also: 2 Red-legged Partridge, 2 Sparrowhawk, 400 Herring Gull, 37 Goldfinch & 350 Linnet.
Butterflies better: Clouded Yellow, 3 Small Pearl-bordered Fritillary, 5 Painted Lady & 70 Small Copper.
