A South Brent home garden watch gave a total of 31 species throughout the day which included Jay 2, a pair of Bullfinch, Siskin, GSWP, Long Tailed Tit, Pied Wagtail, Rook, House Sparrow 25+, Goldfinch 27+, male Reed Bunting, Redwing 35+, Sparrow hawk, Buzzard and a Green Woodpecker in the field.
Overhead and passing three black backed gulls but given the distance and brief views could only ID one as a Lesser Black Back, Raven 3 and Stock Dove 2.
Wrangaton to Kittaford Cross, pair of soaring Buzzards, Heron , Greater Black Back Gull and a flock of 40+ Redwing.
A late afternoon visit to Aveton Gifford (tidal road) Common Sandpiper at least six, constant movement and calling as they flew up and down the river, Greenshank 2, Redshank 2, Canadian Geese 24 flying in. Curlew calling from the marsh, Mistle Thrush 2, Buzzard, several Little Egret and a very elusive Little Grebe.

Several birders looking for the reported Barn owl but I am not aware of it showing this afternoon.
