Down to Broadsands early to play with my swanky new 'scope. No sign of the Red-necked Grebe despite intensive searching, but did find a Slavonian Grebe in Elberry Cove, and 27 Great-crested Grebes in Broadsands bay. 8+ Great Northern Divers, mostly further out, 2 Red-throated Divers and a Black-throated diver first thing which flew out to sea a few minutes later.
Around the car parks a Firecrest, 3 Goldcrests, Chiffchaff and 4 Cirl Buntings.
