Andy Bond found 2 Great White Egrets together at 1.50pm south of the lane to Lions Rest , fairly distantly to the right of the resevoir. For no reason, they both took flight at 2.30pm and slowly headed south at tree top level. They banked right and appeared to drop down on Powderham Marsh, but there was no further sign.
